On the 04/12/2013 our Normal het. Axanthic
(VPI Line) Ball Python female laid 5 beautiful healthy eggs weighing in at 485g (97g each)! She was paired with an
Pastel het.
Axanthic (VPI Line) male
as well as an
Axanthic (VPI
Line) Ball Python male. The eggs are due to hatch 29 Jan - 2 Feb 2014 (55 - 60 days).
According to the genetics, roughly
50% of the clutch should be Axanthic
Ball Pythons.
Lets hope the Odds gods are with us!
Update (11/02/2014): Hatched on 69 days. 1 Pastel male 66% possibly het.
Axanthic (VPI line). 3 normal females 66% possibly
het. Axanthic (VPI line). The het. Axanthic female retained sperm from the previous season's mating which was
Pastel het. Axanthic male x het. Axanthic female, hence the presence of a
Pastel in the clutch.
